Hello friends! I am over on The Cut Shoppe blog today to share a simple layout made with my favorite border cut file, Borderlines Too.
This cut file is so versatile! I can’t even count how many times I have used this one cut file on my layouts and cards. I especially adore the sketchy hearts! Which is why I chose to use this cut file today.
Many of you already know that I am a mom of four crazy boys so I don’t get to play with the girly scrapbooking goodies very often. I took this photo of my little niece a few months back and it was just begging for a layout. I love this simple, beautiful photo of her so I wanted to keep the layout simple and sweet too.
Here is a look at the final layout…
Thanks for stopping by today!
Hi friends! Today I am over on The Cut Shoppe Blog sharing a fun layout using the One Fine Day cut file!
I was feeling a little dip in my “creative mojo” so I went to one of my “go to” layouts, a circle! The best part of using cut files is that they can help dictate a bulk of the design of your layout.
I used the “EVERYDAY” circle from this cut file and cut it out of white card stock. I then layered pieces of colored vellum behind the cut file to help it to stand out against the background. To adhere all these pieces to the background I added some messy white stitching around the page. After that the layout came together fast just by adding some embellishments and I finished it all off with a little black splatter and star stamping.
Here is a look at the final layout!
And a few close ups…
I love how the final layout turned out! Oh, and how I love the two handsome boys in the pic! To get your hands on this cut file you can visit the shop here. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a beautiful day!!!
Hi friends! So glad that you are here hoping along for all the inspiration and fun with The Cut Shoppe! Aren’t my fellow design team members AMAZING! Seriously, I am constantly in awe of these ladies! For my layout I chose to use the Wacky Web, Wicked Fun, and Hey Jack cut files that are all in the shop now!
I had fun using some watercolors and the Crate Paper collection “After Dark”. (Have I said that I love this collection??? Cuz I LOVE this collection!) Here is a look at the final layout!
And a few close ups…

Hi friends! I’m here today to share a few cards I made for The Cut Shoppe design team using the Fancy Feathers cut file.
I just adore the whimsical quality of feathers. I love using feathers on my layouts and my cards to bring a softness and delicacy. Today I am going to share with you two cards that use feathers as the main design element.
For the first card I used the first feather in the cut file and cut it down to 4 x 5.25 inches. I duplicated the feather 3 times and cut it out of white card stock. Next, I used watercolors to create an ombre color palate across the three feathers. To finish the card I just added some stitching on the feathers and a some gold color shine in the background for some contrast. I also used the gold color shine to color the wood veneer “Congrats” on the front of the card. I love how it turned out! Take a look…
For the second card I used the middle feather from the cut file and did a little embossing. This card was super simple and came together in a snap. You can watch the entire process video of how I made the second card below.
Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!
Hello friends! I am so excited to share a Halloween layout with you today! So far my favorite cut files ever from The Cut Shoppe are the Halloween cut files. I adore them all! I had a “wicked fun” time creating with them this year! For my first Halloween layout I decided to use the Wicked Fun cut file from the shop. Here is a look at how fab it is…
I paired this cut file with the adorable collection from Crate Paper called “After Dark”. Here is a look at the final layout including some close ups.
Here is my entire process of putting this fun layout together. Enjoy! Can’t wait to share my next Halloween layout with you! Have a beautiful day!
Happy Wednesday! Today I am so excited to share with you my first layout for The Cut Shoppe! I am so thrilled to be a part of this team of super talented ladies and work with the amazing cutfiles! For my layout I chose to use the Chevron Burst cut file that comes in the new Let’s Cut Class!
I used the fabulous So Rad collection from Simple Stories to compliment the fun cut file. In my silhouette software I cut the burst in half and lined it up along the left side of my paper. So fun!
Here are a few close ups of the final layout! To see the whole layout head over to The Cut Shoppe Blog. You can also see the whole process video, just click on the link below!
