Hello friends! I am so excited to share a Halloween layout with you today! So far my favorite cut files ever from The Cut Shoppe are the Halloween cut files. I adore them all! I had a “wicked fun” time creating with them this year! For my first Halloween layout I decided to use the Wicked Fun cut file from the shop. Here is a look at how fab it is…
I paired this cut file with the adorable collection from Crate Paper called “After Dark”. Here is a look at the final layout including some close ups.
Here is my entire process of putting this fun layout together. Enjoy! Can’t wait to share my next Halloween layout with you! Have a beautiful day!
Today I am sharing a layout inspired by the fabulous Ashley Horton. I saw a video on YouTube of Ashley doing a string art layout and couldn’t wait to give it a try! Then when I saw the constellation paper I knew exactly what I wanted to do. To start the layout I cut the LOVE letters out with my silhouette then traced along them with my paper piercer to create the holes. I then stitched along all the edges of the letters. After the outlines were done I weaved the string art thru the center of the letters. I wanted to focus to stay on the string art so I left the rest of the layout simple. Although this layout took longer than I expected to create I have to say I am in LOVE with the final result! Take a look!

Today I wanted to share a layout that I created with a sketch from Back Porch Memories. Here is a quick look at the sketch that inspired my layout.
Now for the layout!
To start I cut a scribbled circle out of white card stock on my silhouette. I layered papers from Maggie Holmes Open Book collection that coordinated with colors in my photo. I embellished a glitter tag with some fabric and chip board pieces. To finish off the layout I added lots of detail stitching around the page and added my journaling at the bottom with my typewriter. I loved creating this layout with a mix a light and bold colors. I have to say that I am always a sucker for a great sketch! Now for some detailed pictures. Enjoy!
Thanks for stoping by!
Hi, today I am sharing a layout I did for the Sketch-n-Scrap challenge #73. Here is a quick look at the sketch by Kelly.
Right when I saw the sketch I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I love paper piecing! I cut various papers from the Open Road collection by Crate Paper in the shape of a pie to create one big circle. I used different stitches to adhere the papers to the white textured card stock. To finish I embellished with a few small journal cards and tags to go with the absolutely adorable pictures of my little guys. Take a look!
Thanks for stopping by! Don’t forget to head over to the Sketch-n-Scrap blog to see what the other design team girls created with the sketch!
I love having 4 boys. Life is crazy! Even though there was a time that I was a little sad knowing that my fourth and final child would be another boy, knowing what I know now I would not trade it for anything in the world.
Boys are all fun. They are silly and dirty and always up for an adventure. I love that Crate Paper came out with a collection that captured boys so well! When the Boys Rule collection came out I bought everything in the collection…twice! I love it all! To use up some of my stash I challenged my self to use 10+ patterned papers and lots of embellishments. Here is the layout that I created.
I can not tell you how much I enjoyed putting this layout together! Thanks for stopping by today and don’t forget to stop by tomorrow for One Little Word Wednesday.
