Hello friends new & old!  You should be joining me from Irit’s blog.  I am so happy to be joining The Cut Shoppe for another term!  I just adore all of Ashley’s creations in the shop and I am so excited about the new digital scrapbooking collections!  Today I am sharing a layout using the 12×12 Zig-Zagged cut file.

This was such a fun layout to create!  I added colored stitching around the layout to accentuate the zig zags then clustered like colored embellishments for maximum impact.  I love the final result!

If you are new to me,  here are a few fun questions and answers to get to know me and my scrapbooking style…

1. How many times in a week, do you work on something scrapbook related?
Almost daily!  I am a project lifer so I am taking photos daily.  I am lucky enough to work for a few fabulous design teams so I am creating daily to stay on top of projects.
2. What’s your favorite subject to scrapbook?
Of course, my children are my favorite subjects!
3. What is your favorite color to use on your layouts/projects? What is your least favorite color?
I love white and white space.  If I had to choose one color to pair with white it would be mint.  I ADORE MINT….LOL!  My least favorite would have to be black and purple.  I can never find anything to match purple.
4. Why do you like using cut files on your layouts/projects?
I find so much inspiration from cut files.  I could be stuck in a scrapbooking drought and see and cut file and have tons of ideas come to me.  I love that it can be a starting point for a layout or a finishing touch.  I find that cut files are definitely my most used medium in scrapbooking.
5. What are some of your other favorite hobbies? If you were not a scrapbooker, what other hobby do you think would consume most of your time?
I am a avid exerciser.  I teach group fitness classes at the local gyms in Phoenix.  A few of my favorite classes to teach are Body Pump, spin, Combat, Crossfit and Barre.  If I am not at the gym teaching I am usually there working out.  Between the gym, my 4 crazy boys (9, 7, 5, 3) and my very active husband we are a busy little family!
6. Tell us 5 things we don’t know about you!
*If I could live my life over again I would star in Wicked on Broadway. (No I can’t sing or dance…LOL)
*I am not really an animal person…even though we currently have a dog.
*I went to state championships in Badminton in High School.
*I love to sleep in…even though with 4 boys I can’t remember the last time I did it…
*I love to go to the movies by myself. My own popcorn, my own candy, my own drink and no one to talk to….love it!
Whew! LOL! Too much information??? So fun!  Thanks so much for stopping by today and getting to know me and the rest of the design team ladies a little better.
